Larsson is a cult hero in glasgow and Helsingborg. Shearer is pride of England and Geordie. Bergkamp and Zidane will definitely figure in the modern day's top 10 great players. Seeing them disappear on a single day is hard to digest for any pragmatic football fan.
Yup. Guess we can see Zidane and Larson at the WC. the thought that today will be the last time i ll see DB10 in action is tough to digest..
These guys are really talented footballers. But at the end of the day everybody has to retire.
However, I think all of you agree these guys add colours to the beaautiul game. I will be really sad to see them leave.
Hopefully they could continue their services, perhaps, as a manager? This time, I'm not kidding.
@Soccerguy
I am pretty sure at least one of these guys would probably come back as a manager.
Who among these four would make the best manager? Ur vote pls.
Lucas, my best bet is Alan Shearer, as manager of Newcastle United. He has such a great foresight, he'll probably do good as a manager too!
Also, I think Zidane will come back as a manager, I bet. But for which club, honestly, I don't know.
Shearer has not hidden his desire to become manager of his beloved Newcastle someday...i feel Larsson can also make a good manager.
Zidane...i donno y but i am not sure he will become a manager.
