All the observations are so bloody true.Good job and gud post.
Especially the giggs and cole 1 ..have wondered many times myself.Is it bcos they keep shooting whenever the opportunity presents itself?Wat say?
Ac milan s struggle can be attributed to the fact that they have an ageing defense.I mean Stam,Nesta,Maldini,Costacurta etc are great but nt quick anymore.Why did they sell collocini to depor(OR is he on loan?),1 will never know..
why is RVN tak free kicks with rooney scholes and giggs in the team?beats me...
yeah...giggs and cole are a bit too lucky. AC would do well if they buy some world class defender like Gallas. I still not understand why they chose to sign Vieri!!
The reasons are probably that they sold Tomasson in the summer and inzaghi is always injury prone.And considering the fact that they got Gilardino from Parma at a pretty high cost,they needed some1 for less money or for free..like vieri,who came on a bosman.
The problem with Milan is that if Kaka can be blocked then they ae not effective.
Kaka is the only real creative spark in AC's tough-tackling midfield. And precisely that's what Liverpool did by bringing in Hamann during the second half in the final.No marks to Benitez though as he had no one else to replace the injured Finnan. And Hamann made the difference. They will need someone like Vieira/Gerrard who can patrol the backline as well as charge forward and scar the hell out of the opponents' defence.
I guess Gattuso does that.He is a box to box player.The real problem is with the defense.Too old....
Point. Gattuso works like a Bullock. Defense is too old,Except for Nesta. Maldini and Cafu need replacement. They have Marek Jankulovski,Who I heard is a good defender,so instrumental in Udinese finishing 4th last season.One more Central defender and two full backs.They will have cast their eyes on some brazilian right now to bolster their defense. Cicinho,I don't know what he will do at Real Madrid. Oust Beckham!.He would have been better off at AC Milan.
