Is This a Wright Move?

Manchester City has agreed to an amount with Chelsea for Shawn-Wright Philips. Is this a right move for SWP when Chelsea already has so many wingers fighting it out for places in the team? I feel SWP could have chosen to move to Arsenal (Yeah, I still hate them!) where he is sure to have been guaranteed a spot in the starting eleven. But finally, it was Roman's billions that spoke the loudest!

I do pity for players like Duff and Cole. The quality players they are, they would have in any EPL team's starting eleven but in Chelsea, they would have to fight it out. Though this is a good thing - competition for places, until there is some injury to a first-team player, I notice, managers rarely change their squads.

Now, Essien looks like he is sure to move to Chelsea but is he guaranteed a start in every game, the wish of most players. I think Chelsea's squad will look like this in the coming season:
Cech
Ferreira Carvalho Terry DelHorno
Makelele
SWP Lampard Essien Robben
Crespo

This is a terrific and frightening team and it sure will be difficult for teams to even manage a draw. Anyway, the coming season is going to be really exciting. Just 25 days to go...
